About The Position

Arch is seeking a Credit Analyst to support the Credit team in managing approximately $11 billion in corporate bonds across multiple portfolios. The role involves analyzing issuers, sectors, and credit situations; contributing to portfolio discussions; and developing relative value observations and trade ideas. The analyst will also participate in discussions with issuers and research providers about credit and material sustainability factors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject, such as finance or economics.
• 1–3 years of experience in investment, credit research, or a related analytical function.
• Practical knowledge of credit instruments and fixed income markets.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain analysis within the department.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and independence on complex assignments.

Nice To Haves

• Progress toward CFA certification preferred.
• Familiarity with the BlackRock and Aladdin platform is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain credit models for assigned coverage using established analytical approaches.
• Prepare clear credit write-ups on issuers, sectors, and situations for senior review.
• Contribute to portfolio discussions by presenting analysis and explaining conclusions.
• Develop relative value observations and trade ideas within assigned coverage.
• Participate in discussions with issuers and research providers on credit and material sustainability factors.
