About The Position
The Credit Analyst analyzes customer financial documents and data to make research-based recommendations on behalf of the bank. The role assesses the likelihood that borrowers will meet their financial obligations and evaluates credit risk. The position can be located in Henderson and is not remote.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Candidate must pass a pre-employment screening, including a credit history and criminal record check.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of experience in credit analysis or lending preferred.
- Experience with Moody’s Analytics or similar software strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of loan applications, including financial statements, tax returns, cash flow projections, and credit reports.
- Evaluate prospective borrowers’ creditworthiness based on financial data, industry trends, and economic conditions.
- Prepare credit presentations outlining recommended credit structures, terms, and conditions.
- Monitor existing portfolio credit risk by reviewing financial statements and conducting regular portfolio reviews.
- Work closely with loan officers to support timely and accurate credit decisions.
- Adhere to the bank’s credit policies and guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
