About The Position

The Credit Administration Trainee assists the Credit Administration Manager with an oversight of the loan portfolio, focusing on credit risk management. The position supports credit administration processes and loan portfolio monitoring, while developing a strong foundation in credit risk management. Supports with the preparation of credit risk reports, financial reports, and reconciliations. Prepares Unfunded Commitments Report and performs quarterly analysis. Assists with monitoring loans secured by investments portfolio and reviews the status of past due real estate taxes. This position also assists in completing internal and external audit and regulatory requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of financial statements and credit principles
  • Ability to manage multiple competing initiatives and deliver results within deadlines and with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Must demonstrate excellent financial and quantitative skills.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (e.g. Excel, Word, and Power Point).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in field directly related to Credit Analysis or Credit Administration is preferred.
