About The Position

The Credit Administration Manager provides oversight, guidance, and accountability for the bank’s loan operations and ensures that projects and systems are in place and operating efficiently at the branch and operations levels. The role reports directly to the Chief Credit Officer and may assist with projects and loan-system functions assigned by the CCO. The position supports loan policy development and maintenance, oversees loan review and risk-rating processes, compiles loan reports and loan-loss reserve calculations, and supervises loan operations staff while working closely with the loan compliance department. It also requires maintaining confidentiality and delivering quality service to customers and employees.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Banking and Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; or five to seven years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
Ability to stay focused and complete tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision.
Strong customer service skills and ability to maintain good working relationships with fellow employees.
Satisfactory credit and background reporting.

Responsibilities

Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all transactions.
Deliver quality service to customers and employees.
Support loan policy by reviewing, editing, and establishing policy.
Monitor Adverse Action notices and perform second-review oversight.
Maintain the Mark IV program, including maintenance, review, and approval authority.
Compile monthly loan reports.
Oversee internal and external loan review.
Compile and calculate the loan-loss reserve.
Oversee risk ratings on all loans.
Supervise loan operations department staff and work closely with the loan compliance department.
Assist with projects and loan-system functions as assigned.
