About The Position

As a Credit Specialist, you will collect and resolve outstanding balances for assigned accounts and locations. The role supports collection goals while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external customers. You will coordinate invoice collections, address customer account issues, monitor accounts against agreed terms, analyze delinquent accounts, and take collection action based on due dates and amounts. You will also work with branches and sales representatives on collection strategies and escalate financial concerns or risks to management when needed. The position is located in Baltimore, Maryland, with a Monday through Friday schedule and hourly compensation based on experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 2 years of experience in collections and customer service.
Familiarity with accounts receivable and finance policies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software.
Self-starter with high attention to detail.
