About The Position

We are looking for a Creator Success Specialist for Supercast, a company that powers premium subscriptions for the world’s top podcasts and creators. Supercast helps creators build direct relationships with their audiences and generate recurring revenue through exclusive content and community. Following its recent acquisition by Red Seat Ventures (a Fox Corp. company), Supercast is entering a new phase of investment and expansion, evaluating a broader toolkit for podcast-first creators and new ways for creators to engage and monetize their audiences. The Creator Success Specialist will report to the Creator Success Lead and will be responsible for onboarding VIP creators to maximize their earnings and working with existing creators to overcome growth plateaus. The role involves leveraging existing playbooks, a strong industry reputation, and a supportive team. The company believes the next generation of media companies will be creator-led and aims to build the operating system for these businesses.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or client-facing project management.
  • Proven ability to become an expert in a field and use that knowledge to help others.
  • Strong all-round expertise in selling digital goods, ideally with experience in subscription, email marketing, content/social marketing, and product launches.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage effectively.
  • An owner mentality with a strong bias towards action and attention to detail.
  • A tremendous appetite for learning, particularly in the business of podcasts (content creation to marketing).
  • Persuasive communication skills with a knack for driving results, aligning people, and simplifying complex topics.
  • Passion for the creator economy and excitement about shaping tools for successful creators.
  • Experience building products used by creators, media companies, or subscription businesses is especially desired.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard VIP podcasters by understanding their requirements, guiding them through a personalized launch plan, and removing friction and ambiguity.
  • Act as a growth strategist for VIP podcasters, maximizing their earnings by proactively auditing their sales funnel and sharing campaign, promotion, and optimization ideas.
  • Become an expert in the business of podcasting and a true partner to creators, identifying opportunities to improve their experience.
  • Solve technical questions related to plugins, embeds, and API & Zapier integrations, with assistance from other team members.
  • Serve as the customer champion, liaising with internal teams to ensure a great creator experience and sharing insights to improve the product.
  • Build customer-facing content and processes to enhance the creator experience.
