Creator in Residence, Content & Series

Agentio•New York, NY
•$100,000 - $115,000•Onsite

About The Position

Agentio is hiring a creator-minded producer to make its channels engaging for creators, brand marketers, and broader audiences. The role designs and produces content series, writes questions, plans shoots, directs edits with a video editor, and develops the voice of Agentio’s channels. It builds the content engine by deciding what to make, testing hooks and formats, evaluating results, and selecting distribution channels. The position owns Agentio’s presence across Instagram, YouTube, X, and LinkedIn, including the content calendar, publishing, audience interactions, and performance tracking. Production takes place in the company’s office content studio and on the road at events and creator visits. The person also represents Agentio in online creator-economy discussions and brings insights from creators and managers back into the company’s product, onboarding, and content. The role is based in the NYC office at least three days per week.

Requirements

  • Have creator or producer work that can be viewed, such as a personal channel, a series, or a produced show; any audience size is acceptable, with quality prioritized over follower count.
  • Have built or grown something on YouTube, Instagram, X, or LinkedIn and be able to explain why it worked; be able to learn platforms not previously managed.
  • Be highly fluent in short-form and long-form video, including hooks, retention, and pacing.
  • Be able to analyze retention, reach, and engagement by platform, interpret results, and act on them.
  • Be able to run a shoot end to end, including planning, directing, and working with an editor to complete the cut.
  • Be able to shoot, edit, caption, and post a short clip independently, phone-first, on the same day.
  • Be a strong short-form writer, including for captions, hooks, replies, and direct messages.
  • Demonstrate ideas and creative taste, pitch series, and offer substantiated perspectives on the creator economy.
  • Be self-directed and consistent, delivering work on schedule without being chased.
  • Be comfortable working in the NYC office at least three days per week.
  • Be credible with creators, managers, and brand marketers alike.
