Requirements

  • Experience in DTC, paid social creative strategy, and/or UGC strategy.
  • Proven track record of developing high-performing paid social creative (case studies required).
  • Deep understanding of UGC-style content and platform-native trends (TikTok, Meta).
  • Experience owning creative strategy, not just execution.
  • Strong ability to connect performance data to creative decisions.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
  • Ability to think strategically first, then execute.
  • Understanding that creative diversity drives scale.
  • Ability to turn insights into repeatable creative systems.
  • Ability to balance data, creativity, and speed.
  • Ability to lead direction while collaborating cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

  • Evolve creative strategy frameworks for paid social acquisition, based on performance feedback.
  • Translate performance data, audience insights, and brand positioning into actionable creative briefs.
  • Identify opportunities for scaling winning concepts and unlocking new creative angles.
  • Own the strategic direction of creative across Meta and TikTok, guiding concept development, creative briefing, scriptwriting, and iterative testing.
  • Lead development of clear, high-quality creative briefs for internal teams and external creators.
  • Craft post-production briefs for an external video editing partner.
  • Set direction and execute hooks and messaging that hold viewer attention.
  • Define visual storytelling elements, including b-roll shotlists, content sourcing, and use of third-party stock footage.
  • Develop creatives for TikTok that can be repurposed for other paid channels (Meta, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, SnapChat, etc.).
  • Ensure all creative aligns with performance goals and brand voice, balancing conversion with brand integrity.
  • Own ideation and execution of UGC-style ad concepts optimized for conversion.
  • Source creators that fit specific angles and demographics.
  • Develop content that balances native platform feel with performance-driven messaging.
  • Guide editors toward high-performing outputs and provide notes on edits.
  • Lead strategy and execution for scaling winning creatives, avoiding creative fatigue and expanding successful concepts into new formats.
  • Establish frameworks for concept variation, testing velocity, and creative refresh cycles.
  • Partner closely with acquisition and creative teams to analyze creative performance, inform future creative insights, and identify trends.
  • Use data to continuously refine strategy and improve ROI.
  • Adapt winning concepts across various formats (statics, GIFs, video), ensuring each variation is distinct to the platform and algorithm.
  • Work with the Director of Content and Creator Performance to improve and scale creative workflows, briefing systems, and pipelines.
  • Ensure clarity, consistency, and efficiency across tools like Hive/Wrike and Iconik.
  • Support a high-volume, test-and-learn creative environment.
