Requirements

  • Experience in DTC, paid social creative strategy, and/or UGC strategy.
  • Proven track record of developing high-performing paid social creative (case studies).
  • Deep understanding of UGC-style content and platform-native trends (TikTok, Meta).
  • Experience owning creative strategy, not just execution.
  • Strong ability to connect performance data to creative decisions.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

  • Experience as a UGC creator.
  • Willingness to be on camera as a proof-of-concept creator.
  • Experience working with overseas video editors.

Responsibilities

  • Evolve creative strategy frameworks for paid social acquisition, based on performance feedback.
  • Translate performance data, audience insights, and brand positioning into actionable creative briefs.
  • Identify opportunities for scaling winning concepts and unlocking new creative angles.
  • Hire creators, source for Whitelisting, and reoptimize pre-existing assets into conversion-driven ads.
  • Lead development of clear, high-quality creative briefs for internal teams and external creators.
  • Craft easy-to-understand post-production briefs for an external video editing partner.
  • Set direction and execute hooks and messaging that holds viewer attention.
  • Develop visual storytelling, including b-roll shotlists, content sourcing, and utilizing third-party stock footage sites.
  • Create creatives for TikTok that can be repurposed for other paid channels (Meta, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, SnapChat, etc.).
  • Ensure all creative aligns with performance goals and brand voice, crafting ads that convert without compromising brand integrity.
  • Own ideation and execution of UGC-style ad concepts optimized for conversion.
  • Source creators that fit specific angles and demographics.
  • Develop content that balances native platform feel with performance-driven messaging.
  • Guide editors toward high-performing outputs and provide notes on edits.
  • Lead strategy and execution for scaling winning creatives, avoiding creative fatigue and expanding successful concepts into new formats.
  • Establish frameworks for concept variation, testing velocity, and creative refresh cycles.
  • Analyze creative performance in partnership with acquisition and creative teams to inform future insights and identify trends.
  • Use data to continuously refine strategy and improve ROI.
  • Adapt winning concepts across various formats (statics, GIFs, video), ensuring each variation is distinct to the platform and algorithm.
  • Improve and scale creative workflows, briefing systems, and pipelines.
  • Ensure clarity, consistency, and efficiency across tools like Hive/Wrike and Iconik.
  • Support a high-volume, test-and-learn creative environment.
