About The Position

As a Creative Media Coordinator at SCHEELS, you will join our team of marketing associates in bringing the SCHEELS brand to life by creating, producing, editing, and organizing in-house photography for E-commerce, Marketing and internal projects.

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in photography
  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Nice To Haves

  • Preferred product photography experience, including layflats and body forms
  • Proficiency in studio lighting, professional camera equipment, Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, and color management tools

Responsibilities

  • This position requires strong organizational and communication skills to manage a project from start to finish while maintaining SCHEELS brand and photography standards
  • In collaboration with marketing and ecommerce associates, this professional will execute requested photography related projects
  • Manage production advance tasks by selecting/securing products or digital assets for photography projects assigned
  • Work independently to execute internal or e-commerce photo sessions utilizing proficiency in lighting, set up and camera operation
  • Execute editing for all images utilizing photography software tools
  • File, archive and distribute images per marketing and Ecommerce guidelines
  • Collaborate with Creative Project Managers to ensure final images meet quality standards and creative direction
  • Proactively follow up with Creative Project Managers to regularly recap projects and elevate work
  • Complete regular inventory and maintenance on camera equipment, lighting, props and software to ensure proper handling and storage of equipment and props
  • Maintain a neat and organized studio
  • Assist with campaign projects as requested
  • Ability to concept, present, and execute creative ideas that support the featured products
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and communicate creative concepts
  • Be part of the MKT customer service team
