About The Position

Wizards of the Coast is seeking a Creative Manager for Magic: The Gathering to define and grow its Production Artist team. The team creates custom frames and specialty print files that bring creative ideas to life as collectible cards. The role leads and develops creative production artists, coordinates workloads and resources, and builds an inclusive, high-performing team. It also fosters collaboration among creative, game production, and game design teams, and partners across the studio to translate product goals into clear creative direction, deliverables, and decisions. The position also calls for strong operational leadership to improve processes, document work, coordinate reviews, and establish repeatable workflows.

Requirements

Experience with licensed products, entertainment franchises, external creative collaborators, or brand extensions.
Strong communication skills and comfort giving and receiving feedback.
High attention to detail and highly developed organizational skills.
Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Comfort using remote collaboration tools such as MS Teams, Smartsheet, and Miro.

Responsibilities

Develop teamwork and integration between the creative team, game production, and game design.
