About The Position

Jerry.ai is seeking a Creative Lead, Lifecycle & Retention to revolutionize how the company communicates with its customers. The role focuses on transforming transactional messaging into value-additive, relationship-driven communication to build trust, engagement, and long-term customer loyalty. The initial focus will be on overhauling existing customer communications across CRM, email, SMS, and in-app copy. As the tone of voice takes shape and lifecycle campaigns show success, the scope may expand to include driving customer growth and building brand affinity through other organic content, such as social media.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in creative marketing with a focus on organic growth and a copy lean.
  • Proven track record with organic channels like email, SMS, and social.
  • Experience working with consumer brands.
  • A portfolio showcasing both writing and creative craft.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Ability to translate complex, dry, and stressful topics into engaging, human, and accessible copy.
  • Deep expertise in copywriting, audience development, and product positioning.
  • Great sense of the social media landscape and community dynamics (like Reddit).
  • Ability to take qualitative data and user pain points and turn them into resonant, empathetic marketing copy.
  • Experience in fast-growing startups.
  • Ability to champion the unmeasurable value of a great brand experience.

Responsibilities

  • Overhaul existing customer communications, including CRM, email, SMS, and in-app copy.
  • Transform messaging from functional and direct to value-additive and relationship-driven.
  • Work closely with Product, Design, Growth, and Customer Insights teams to build trust and engagement.
  • Drive long-tail conversion through improved messaging.
  • Potentially expand scope to drive customer growth and build brand affinity through other creative organic content (e.g., social media) as the tone of voice takes shape and lifecycle campaigns show success.
