Creative Designer

Bridgewater Associates•New York, NY
•$160,000 - $265,000•Onsite

About The Position

The Creative Designer will help shape Bridgewater’s visual identity and bring it to life across internal and external channels. This is a hands-on design role with significant creative ownership, focused both on developing the visual design system and producing work within it. The designer will partner closely with the Creative Director and the Head of External Communications and Affairs to create the tools, standards, systems, and assets that support the identity. The role involves refining Bridgewater’s visual language—including typography, color, imagery, graphic systems, and iconography—and co-developing practical brand guidelines and scalable design architecture. The designer will apply the system across touchpoints such as retail ads, recruiting materials, the website, and social media; translate complex concepts into clear, memorable graphics; and identify opportunities to turn individual solutions into reusable systems, templates, or principles. The successful candidate will bring exceptional craft, judgment, and taste, along with a systems-oriented approach, independence, and openness to feedback and iteration. The role is primarily onsite four days per week at the New York City campus. Some Client Service teams operate on a hybrid schedule alternating between the New York City and Westport campuses.
