About The Position

The Creative Designer will help shape and implement Bridgewater’s visual identity across internal and external channels. This hands-on role has significant creative ownership and involves both developing the visual design system and creating work within it. The designer will partner closely with the Creative Director and the Head of External Communications and Affairs to create tools, standards, systems, and assets that support the brand. The role applies the evolving brand system across a broad range of touchpoints, including retail ads, recruiting materials, the website, and social media. It also involves translating sophisticated concepts into clear, memorable graphics in collaboration with writers, investors, and other partners. The designer is expected to work independently, respond constructively to feedback, experiment, and identify when individual design solutions should become reusable systems, templates, or principles. The anticipated onsite requirement is four days per week, primarily at Bridgewater’s New York City campus. A subset of teams, including Client Service, operates on a hybrid schedule alternating between the New York City and Westport campuses.
