About The Position

The Creative Design & Experience Director develops global digital-experience capabilities by translating shared market needs and product priorities into reusable experience requirements. The role leads agency work in site creative design and enables compelling, locally relevant ecommerce experiences across markets. The director establishes brand-led digital design direction and standards, owns the creative-design standards and brand layer of the global eCommerce design system, and leads initial creative and experience-design scope for new global site experiences. The role partners with Digital Product/UX to move approved concepts into final UX and scalable product solutions; Product/UX retains responsibility for functional design, technical requirements, and implementation. The position creates reusable templates, visual systems, and interaction concepts; identifies shared market needs; defines creative requirements for CMS components and interactions; and co-designs localization frameworks that balance global brand expression with local needs. It incorporates research, behavioral insights, usability findings, and Local BU feedback, and sets standards for digital craft, visual hierarchy, responsiveness, accessibility considerations, and brand consistency. The director also establishes global creative-review and design-governance processes, leads and develops the Creative Design & Experience team and external agency ecosystem, and represents the creative digital-experience perspective in enterprise roadmap discussions. The role is part of Coach, a global fashion house and member of Tapestry, a global house of brands.
