Part-Time Creamery Ecommerce Stockroom Worker
About The Position
The Penn State Berkey Creamery is seeking highly motivated individuals for part-time positions assisting with all aspects of its online order shipping department. Work includes handling frozen, refrigerated, and dry-ice products; packing orders for shipment; preparing supplies; and maintaining an organized, clean warehouse. Flexible scheduling is offered based on class and activity schedules. Candidates may operate a university vehicle if they have a valid driver’s license and pass a motor vehicle records check, in addition to standard background checks. Employment requires successful completion of background checks in accordance with University policies.
Requirements
- Ability to regularly lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation.
- Successful completion of background checks in accordance with University policies.
- For candidates operating a university vehicle: valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check.
Responsibilities
- Pull ice cream from freezers.
- Pull cold products from coolers.
- Handle dry ice.
- Pack orders to be shipped.
- Unload, stock, and prepare shipment supplies.
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Operate a university vehicle if applicable and after meeting the stated licensing and records-check requirements.
