CRANE OPERATOR- 2nd Shift
About The Position
Owen is hiring an Overhead Crane Operator / Material Handler for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment. The operator safely handles materials to support production goals, quality control, and efficiency. The role includes assisting the Laser Operator with stacking and loading the correct materials, maintaining clean and organized work areas, and developing skills through on-the-job training. The regular schedule is Monday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., with overtime available as needed. Training takes place on first shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., for three to four weeks. Pay is $23–$28 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential. A total of $3,000 in bonuses is offered: $250 after the hire date, $750 after 90 days, $1,000 after six months, and $1,000 after one year.
Requirements
- Experience operating overhead cranes; remote-control experience is preferred.
- Experience working with 15–30 ton cranes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to procedures.
- Organized, reliable, and proactive.
