About The Position

Black Hills Trucking is hiring a full-time, on-site Crane Operator in Williston, North Dakota. The company provides oilfield services and heavy hauling as part of the True companies family. The Crane Operator operates a crane and truck to lift and move equipment and to rig up and tear down equipment. The role also involves inspecting and lubricating crane equipment, performing basic maintenance, and reporting defects or malfunctions to a supervisor. The operator responds to hand signals by using levers and pedals to rotate the crane on its chassis and raise or lower the boom and load line. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience), crane-operating proficiency, a valid Class A CDL, and NCCO certification. The operator must be able to travel and meet the stated eligibility qualifications.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent education; an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Proficiency in crane operating.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCO) certification.
Ability to travel.
Acceptable results of a DOT physical.
English language fluency, verbal and written.
Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check, and drug/alcohol test.
