About The Position

The Crane Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently transferring materials in the warehouse. The role requires knowledge of the capabilities, limitations, and mechanical condition of cranes, lifting devices, and attachments. The operator must inspect the work area, machines, and equipment daily to ensure safe working conditions, and remain safety- and quality-conscious. Other duties include operating banding equipment, packaging material, and operating a tow motor.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Previous forklift experience.
• Mechanical inclination and a production-oriented mindset.
• Safety- and quality-conscious approach.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Use of a micrometer, calipers, and measuring tape is strongly preferred.
• General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices.
• Knowledge of general computer programs is strongly preferred.
