About The Position

The Crane Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient transfer of materials in the warehouse. The role requires knowledge of the capabilities, limitations, and mechanical condition of cranes, lifting devices, and attachments. The operator must inspect the work area, machines, and equipment daily to ensure safe working conditions and must be conscious of safety and quality. Other duties include operating banding equipment, packaging material, and operating a tow motor.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Previous forklift experience is required.
• Mechanically inclined, production oriented, and safety and quality conscious.
• Able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work 3rd shift, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.

Nice To Haves

• Basic math skills.
• General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices.
• Working knowledge of general computer programs.
