Craft Beverage Sales Representative - Cleveland West
About The Position
Cavalier Distributing is seeking a self-starter with a passion for craft beer, wine, and other beverages to join their team as a Craft Beverage Sales Representative. This is a full-time, outside sales position supporting the west side of Cleveland. The role involves spending 40 hours per week in the assigned territory, working independently to achieve sales goals. The representative will be the face of Cavalier, responsible for sales, distribution, and placement of products in new and existing retail accounts. This position offers unlimited earning potential, heavily weighted towards performance-based commission.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of the craft beer and beverage industry.
- Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
- Valid, unexpired driver’s license and a clean DMV record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to apply for and obtain a solicitor’s license with the state.
- Ability to handle product generally weighing 0 - 165 pounds, including bending and stooping as needed for product rotation and merchandising.

Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with existing accounts.
- Proactively develop new business.
- Foster strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
- Regularly visit accounts and become a trusted authority on craft beverages.
- Sell and expand product lines, ensuring successful placement and maintenance of Cavalier products.
- Host beer tastings, dinners, and promotions.
- Handle all aspects of the sales cycle, including preparing quotes and executing monthly goals.
- Ensure excellent customer service and timely collections.
- Assist with seasonal product displays and store resets.
- Represent Cavalier at special events and festivals (occasional evenings/weekends required).
