About The Position

Perform basic racking and un-racking techniques while supporting the department’s safety/EHS, quality, and production requirements. Assure consistent quality of production parts by following good manufacturing practice systems, validating processes, and providing documentation. Participate in departmental continuous improvement and assist with facility-wide improvement projects using disciplined problem-solving techniques to support department goals.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills, including the ability to provide instructions and present information clearly.
• Ability to pass a basic Microsoft Excel skills assessment and demonstrate basic Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Ability to understand and work with basic mathematical concepts.
• Attention to detail.
• Adaptability to a changing work environment, competing demands, frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand work order requirements.
• Identify parts using printed and/or electronic pictures.
• Work directly with Management, Production Support, and Quality department personnel.
• Participate in the Ultra C-Lean/6s process and ensure department personnel follow it.
• Participate in the Operator Verification Procedure to ensure compliance.
• Participate in Root Cause and Corrective Actions.
• Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas.
• Adhere to safety requirements and assist with enforcement of compliance.
• Handle customer-supplied product with care.
• Maintain and reinforce ORIZON’s quality standards to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Manage time appropriately to meet production, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Interact professionally with co-workers and vendors, understand internal customers, and maintain good relations.
• Respond quickly to inquiries and follow up as needed.
• Embrace change to support the overall success of the company.
• Wear required PPE, including protective gloves and boots, and chemical-resistant suits and respirators when required.
• Be willing to work overtime when required, including weekends.
