About The Position

The Osceola County Clerk of the Circuit Court & County Comptroller is looking to hire a highly motivated individual willing to grow and develop within a fast-paced environment driven by a culture of service. We are looking for individuals with the ability to professionally interact with judges, attorneys, and other government office personnel while performing court-related ministerial functions.

Requirements

Type 35 wpm
Public speaking
Computer skills and knowledge of software applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal & skills
Time management and organizational skills
Compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations
HS Diploma or equivalent
Valid Florida Driver's License
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must demonstrate maturity and communication skills for public service
Previous experience in a court, law office, government agency, or comparable professional environment

Responsibilities

Represent the Clerk's Office in a professional manner
Deliver best-in-class service experience virtually or in-person
Maintain court records to ensure they are complete, accurate, and up to date
Notify relevant parties of court proceedings as needed
Serve as evidence custodian
Input data into multiple system applications/software
Communicate with coworkers, management, staff, the public, and others in a courteous and professional manner
Works in a fast-paced, multi-project environment, including meeting commitments and deadlines
Able to establish and maintain highly effective working relationships with all levels, both internally and externally
Must be available to work overtime if needed
Performs other duties as assigned
