About The Position

The Courtesy Officer plays an essential role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment within a commercial office or mixed-use property. As a front-line presence, the position supports daily operations through security monitoring, customer service, and emergency response while helping protect people, property, and the overall tenant experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of security systems and emergency procedures.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and observant in high-pressure situations.
• Strong attention to detail and written documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Security training or certification preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Prior experience in security, customer service, or law enforcement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of the property.
• Monitor security cameras and access points.
• Greet visitors and assist tenants with access or inquiries.
• Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
• Escort vendors and unlock authorized areas as needed.
• Document incidents, patrols, and observations.
• Coordinate with property management and emergency responders.
