About The Position

A Courtesy Clerk (Bagger) bags guests’ purchases promptly and efficiently and, upon request, transports purchases to customers’ automobiles and places them safely inside. The role also supports front-end operations, cart retrieval, price checks, go-backs, and general housekeeping. The minimum age is 14. Weekend shifts are required, Sundays as applicable. Work is performed in a retail store environment, with possible exposure to hot or cold conditions. The role involves frequent standing, walking, and bending, as well as grasping, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, twisting, crouching, reaching, repetitive motion, coordination, and responding to customer inquiries. Team members must be able to maneuver objects weighing up to 30 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Responsibilities

Bag guests’ purchases promptly and efficiently.
Upon request, transport purchases to customers’ automobiles and place them safely inside.
Retrieve carts from the parking lot and return them to the proper in-store location, following applicable safety policies.
Remove clutter from carts and wipe down kids’ carts before putting them away.
Fill bag slots and supplies needed for efficient front-end operations.
Assist with price checks and go-backs.
Assist with general housekeeping duties as assigned.
