About The Position

The Courtesy Clerk (Bagger) promptly and efficiently bags guests’ purchases and, upon request, transports them to guests’ automobiles and places them safely inside. The role also supports front-end operations by replenishing bag slots and supplies, assisting with price checks and go-backs, and performing general housekeeping duties as assigned. The work is performed in a retail store environment, with possible exposure to hot or cold conditions. Weekend shifts are required, including Sundays as applicable. The minimum age is 14 years old.

Requirements

Minimum age of 14 years old.
Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, and bending, and to maneuver objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
Ability to grasp, push, pull, carry, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach; perform repetitive-motion tasks requiring eye, hand, and foot coordination; and hear and respond to customer inquiries.
Weekend shifts are required, including Sundays as applicable.

Responsibilities

Promptly and efficiently bag guests’ purchases.
At guests’ request, transport purchases to their automobiles and place them safely inside.
Return carts from the parking lot to the proper in-store location and follow safety policies for cart retrieval.
Remove clutter from carts and wipe down kids’ carts before putting them away.
Fill bag slots and replenish supplies needed for efficient front-end operations.
Assist with price checks and go-backs.
Assist with general housekeeping duties as assigned.
