About The Position

The Courtesy Clerk (Bagger) promptly and efficiently bags guests’ purchases and, upon request, transports purchases to customers’ automobiles and places them safely inside. The role supports front-end operations by keeping bagging slots and supplies stocked, assisting with price checks and go-backs, and performing general housekeeping duties as assigned. The work takes place in a retail store environment, with possible exposure to hot or cold conditions. Weekend shifts are required, Sundays as applicable. The minimum age is 14.

Requirements

Minimum age of 14 years.
Ability to grasp, push, pull, carry, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach.
Ability to perform repetitive-motion tasks requiring eye, hand, and foot coordination.
Ability to hear and respond to customer inquiries.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend frequently.
Ability to maneuver objects weighing up to 30 pounds from location to location.
Availability for required weekend shifts, including Sundays as applicable.

Responsibilities

Promptly and efficiently bag guests’ purchases.
Upon request, transport purchases to guests’ automobiles and place them safely inside.
Return carts from the parking lot to the proper in-store location and follow safety policies for cart retrieval.
Remove clutter from carts and wipe down kids’ carts before putting them away.
Fill bag slots and stock supplies needed for efficient front-end operations.
Assist with price checks and go-backs.
Perform general housekeeping duties as assigned.
