About The Position

Bel Air is hiring a Courtesy Team Member to support the front end of the store and provide a positive customer experience. The role involves bagging groceries, collecting shopping carts, assisting customers, and maintaining store cleanliness. Courtesy Team Members are expected to be responsible, friendly, attentive to detail, ready to learn, and able to work at a fast pace. The job is posted year-round to build a talent pool and may not reflect current hiring needs; applications may be kept on file for future openings.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, or 16 years old with a valid work permit. Employees may occasionally experience physical demands for extended periods, including standing, sitting, lifting and stocking up to 50 pounds, pushing, keyboarding, telephone use, walking, and bending.

For internal transfer or promotion candidates, there must have been no disciplinary action during the prior six months. The candidate’s current leader must recommend the application and provide an endorsement if requested by HR. Internal candidates may be asked to accept a part-time position if that is the only position available. Actual compensation depends on relevant education, training, experience, and other bona fide factors.

Responsibilities

• Bag customers’ groceries neatly and orderly.
• Verify prices for cashiers when necessary.
• Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and assist customers with groceries to their cars.
• Maintain a cheerful and helpful attitude toward customers and other Team Members.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the store and restrooms.
• Assist with go-backs and accompany customers to locate items throughout the store.
