Requirements

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and three years of professional experience, one year of which shall have included experience in case management; enforcement of court orders; and/or supervision, monitoring and intervention of offenders.
Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits.
An associate degree from an accredited college or university and two years of additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
A master’s degree from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one year of general experience as indicated above
A law degree from an approved American Bar Association law school may be substituted for two years of general experience as indicated above.
Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.
Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations.
Newly hired employees must agree to a thorough background check that will include fingerprinting.
All persons newly hired by the Judiciary within one year must establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey.

Positions in the supervision unit may require working an Alternate Work Schedule, including late nights.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor staff in utilizing best practice and tools such as Risk Needs-Responsivity (RNA) instrument, Core Correctional Practice skills, and Structured Response Grid Policy.
Oversee case processing.
Coordinate assignments between units and/or teams.
Review staff assignments and written reports for accuracy and completeness.
Conduct performance evaluations.
Identify staff training needs.
Develop and formulate procedures and/or practices for efficient operations using data-driven standards.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Interact with community leaders and organizations.
Identify and analyze problems to enforce court orders.
Ensure the delivery of quality client service to a diverse and multilingual population.
