The Multnomah County Circuit Court is hiring a Central Public Service Clerk (Court Operations Associate). In this role… You will greet customers, assess their needs, and provide them with guidance for their next steps to ensure that they can successfully complete their court business. You will start new cases and accept, review for accuracy and completeness, and process documents for a variety of case types based on established business processes. You will process violations cases at the customer service counter helping customers navigate their choices. You will also look up, print, certify, and take payments for court records. Additionally, you will process payments that are made to each unit of the court in person, over the phone, and through the mail. You will balance and account for all payments, negotiate payment plan terms with customers, initiate and monitor collections activities for court-imposed obligations.
