About The Position

This position is for a Course Lecturer for PHYS 521, an astrophysics course covering topics such as stellar formation, evolution and endpoints; stellar astrophysics; the Milky Way; galaxies; and cosmology. The course is scheduled for Fall 2026, on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:05 pm to 2:25 pm. Requirements

  • Expertise in the content area of the course (astrophysics).
  • Authorized to work in Canada.
  • Willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based.

  • Previous experience as an instructor at the university-level.
  • Ph.D. degree.
