About The Position

The Desautels Faculty of Management is inviting applications to teach a course in Fall 2026. The course is Fundamentals of Decision Analytics (MGCR 614 025). Applications will be ranked according to the collective agreement between McGill University and the MCLIU, with preference given to the qualified applicant with the most priority points. Requirements

• Master's degree (M.Sc., M.B.A., M.Eng. or equivalent) in analytics, data science, management science / operations research, statistics, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
• Demonstrated coding experience, including proven working knowledge of Python and R (both required).
• Demonstrated experience applying decision analytics to business problems, in a professional or research setting.
• Demonstrated ability to teach quantitative and analytics material to a managerial audience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.

Nice To Haves

• A Ph.D. in analytics, data science, management science / operations research, statistics, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
• Prior university-level teaching of analytics or quantitative methods courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach Fundamentals of Decision Analytics (MGSC 640 025) during Fall 2026.
• Translate technical methods into decision-relevant insight for MBA students and practicing managers.
