About The Position

The Department of Kinesiology & Physical Education is inviting applications to teach a course in Winter 2027. This course provides hands-on skills and training required to work as a kinesiologist, with a focus on risk assessment, fitness evaluation methods, collection and interpretation of client data, and individualized physical fitness prescription. The course includes lecture and practical lab hours. McGill University is an English-language university requiring English communication both verbally and in writing. Requirements

  • Graduate/Post Graduate degree (PhD applicants in Kinesiology or related field of study will be prioritized).
  • 3-5 Years of experience teaching at a University level.
  • Practical experience in Physical Fitness Evaluation.
  • Practical experience in lab work or using Fitness evaluation equipment.
  • Authorized to work in Canada.
  • Willing to work in the province of Quebec.
  • English communication skills (verbally and in writing).

Nice To Haves

  • FKQ and/or CSEP certification.

  • Teach EDKP 350/001 course in Winter 2027.
