About The Position

The Department of Kinesiology & Physical Education is inviting applications to teach a course in Winter 2027. This course is designed to provide physical and health education students with basic, qualitative, and theoretical knowledge of biomechanics and motor learning. Applicable strategies to integrate and implement this knowledge to improve teaching and coaching skills in sport, dance and physical activity will be addressed. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Biomechanics, Motor Learning or a relevant discipline.
  • Experience in teaching biomechanics and Motor Learning in a University environment, preferably within a Kinesiology and/or Physical Education Department.
  • Authorized to work in Canada.
  • Willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located.
  • English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Teach EDKP 208 KPE W27 course in Winter 2027.
  • Provide students with basic, qualitative, and theoretical knowledge of biomechanics and motor learning.
  • Address applicable strategies to integrate and implement knowledge to improve teaching and coaching skills in sport, dance and physical activity.
