About The Position

The Department of Kinesiology & Physical Education is inviting applications to teach a course in Winter 2027. This role involves the administration of the course, including student placement, client recruitment, and scheduling. The lecturer will teach students how to design and execute basic exercise programs for online or in-person training, supervise exercise sessions, provide feedback, and act as a professional resource during students' internship experiences. McGill University is an English-language institution requiring English communication skills.

Requirements

  • BSc (or higher) in Kinesiology or comparable field (e.g.: Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology)
  • Accreditation by the Fédération des Kinésiologues du Québec (FKQ)
  • Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology, Clinical Exercise Physiology certification (CSEP-CEP)
  • Full time practicing kinesiologist over the past 5 years
  • Previous experience with teaching online exercise classes
  • Previous experience with personal training, specifically with sedentary and general population
  • Previous experience supervising internship students in Kinesiology at the university level
  • Authorized to work in Canada
  • Willing to work in the province of Quebec
