About The Position

A unionized contractual course-by-course appointment to teach one or more courses. Department of Biology McGill University Fall 2026 BIOL115 Essential Biology. The Department of Biology is inviting applications for a course lecturer position to teach in Fall 2026. Please include your Cover Letter and CV.

Requirements

  • University degree: PhD in the field of Cell, Molecular or Developmental Biology.
  • Relevant experience required: Knowledge of Genetics, Cell Biology and Molecular Biology.
  • Ability to teach the state of the art in Genetics, Cell Biology and Molecular Biology at a level suitable for non-Biology majors.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.
  • Willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located.
  • English communication both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of course material and course plan.
  • Delivery of course.
  • Evaluation of students.
  • Submission of attendance and grades.
