About The Position

The Department of Anthropology is inviting applications to teach ANTH 202 – Socio-Cultural Anthropology in Fall 2026. This course provides an introduction to understanding what it means to be human from the perspective of socio-cultural anthropology, engaging students with diverse approaches through ethnographic cases. Requirements

  • MA required
  • Authorized to work in Canada
  • Willing to work in the province of Quebec
  • English communication skills (verbally and in writing)

  • Ph.Ds with specialization in relevant areas, or near completion of degree
  • Relevant field research background
  • Experience in teaching introductory courses in socio-cultural anthropology
