About The Position

Driver/operator of company vehicles who provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned. This is a part-time position scheduled Saturday through Monday, paying $23.21 per hour. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a license for the type of vehicle assigned. The position is non-covered safety-sensitive and requires a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages weighing more than 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance, as customer contact is required.
• Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Medical exam required in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
