Part Time Courier
About The Position
The Part Time Courier travels to Bank of Springfield branches in Springfield and Chatham to deliver mail to recipients. The employee may also be responsible for vehicle care, including filling the gas tank, oil changes, and car washes as needed. The role involves following proper opening and closing procedures to maintain facility security, assisting with operation of the postage machine for outgoing mail when time allows, and completing other assigned projects and deliveries. This position is 12–16 hours per week and pays $16.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Compensation may also include bonuses, benefits, and other incentives.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Basic knowledge of bank policies and procedures.
- Basic communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
Responsibilities
- Travel to Bank of Springfield branches in Springfield and Chatham to deliver mail to recipients.
- Care for the vehicle as needed, including filling it with gas, arranging oil changes, and washing it.
- Follow proper opening and closing procedures to maintain facility security.
- Assist with operating the postage machine for outgoing mail as time allows.
- Complete other projects and deliveries as assigned.
