About The Position

The Courier is responsible for the safe, timely, and compliant transport of materials, including plasma, live tissue, and related biological substances, between company facilities and designated partner locations in the Greater Sioux Falls, South Dakota area. The role supports operational efficiency by providing reliable courier services across SAB sites and other locations. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling based on operational needs and requires reliability, professionalism, and adherence to safety standards. The position involves frequent local travel within the Sioux Falls Metro area, including all SAB locations and Pharms in Canton and Parker, South Dakota. Work takes place in indoor and outdoor environments and includes operating a vehicle. The role includes exposure to biological materials under controlled and compliant conditions. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate records.
Strong attention to detail and reliability.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Ability to drive for extended periods and to walk, stand, and sit.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior courier, delivery, or logistics experience.
Experience handling biological or medical materials.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with GxP requirements, chain-of-custody protocols, documentation standards, and audit-readiness requirements for transported materials.
Transport plasma, live tissue, and related biological materials in accordance with applicable safety, handling, and regulatory requirements.
Follow chain-of-custody procedures and documentation protocols.
Perform routine courier runs between SAB sites and designated locations in the Sioux Falls Metro area.
Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and temperature control during transport.
Conduct pre- and post-transport checks to verify the integrity and condition of materials.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and required documentation.
Follow company policies, biosafety procedures, and applicable regulations and guidelines.
Coordinate pickups and deliveries through effective communication with internal teams.
Promptly report incidents, delays, or discrepancies.
Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of transport vehicles and equipment.
