About The Position

Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Courier to join our team as a Healthcare Hero. In this role, you will be responsible for the vital transportation of reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens between the laboratory and healthcare provider locations. You will ensure proper specimen handling and transport, operate a motor vehicle safely in all weather conditions, and interact with a variety of clients, providing customer-focused service. This position plays a crucial part in the patient care process and requires a commitment to safety, compliance, and quality control.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record for the past three years.
• Confidence operating a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions and navigating routine hazards of the road.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints, without close supervision.
• Physical capability of light to medium lifting (up to 50lbs).

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of experience operating conventional vehicles for business purposes. This includes cars, trucks, and/or vans.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
