About The Position

The Courier position is a full-time role within the 60315 IL ACL Laboratories - IL Logistics Department. The primary responsibility is to transport and deliver assigned items, including medical specimens and supplies, while ensuring their integrity and confidentiality. This role requires adherence to schedules, routes, and safety protocols, as well as maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing scheduled maintenance. Effective communication with clients, staff, and dispatch is essential, along with prompt and professional responses to urgent requests. The courier will also be responsible for documenting deliveries, supporting workflow improvements, handling physical tasks such as lifting up to 60 lbs, and using freight equipment as needed. Collection of payments or signatures may also be required.

Requirements

Valid state driver’s license.
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication, customer service.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient related information.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
