About The Position

This is a full-time, 2nd shift position for a Courier. The role involves transporting and delivering assigned items, including medical specimens and supplies, while ensuring their integrity and confidentiality. The courier will be responsible for the proper handling, storage, and transport of sensitive and hazardous materials, adhering to schedules, routes, and safety protocols. Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing scheduled maintenance are also key duties. Effective communication with clients, staff, and dispatch is essential, as is prompt and professional response to urgent requests. The position requires documenting deliveries, supporting workflow improvements, and handling physical tasks such as lifting up to 60 lbs and using freight equipment. Collecting payments or signatures may also be required.

Requirements

Valid state driver’s license
High school diploma or GED
Strong communication, customer service.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient related information.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
