About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Courier to join its team in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. The Courier picks up, transports, and delivers medical specimens, laboratory supplies, and reports while providing excellent service to clients. The position includes a company vehicle for the route, with the option to take the vehicle home and use it personally for $125 per month.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with a weekend rotation.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of courier experience.
• Strong punctuality and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to problem-solve customer issues.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• At least 21 years old.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Load all necessary supplies for daily pickups.
• Complete the daily pickup schedule in a timely manner.
• Deliver all daily pickups to the branch at the end of the shift.
• Handle specimens and laboratory samples safely and efficiently.
• Safely operate a company vehicle and obey traffic laws.
• Use a handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups.
• Work with the dispatcher to handle additional pickups as needed.
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed.
• Provide excellent service to clients.
