Requirements
- Graduation from high school; or Any equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Must meet the PA residency requirement.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
- Must pass a background investigation.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
Responsibilities
- Teach skills related to budgeting, hygiene, parenting, nutrition, and home care
- Drive consumers to supervised visits and needed appointments
- Provide child care when necessary during family appointments
- Write reports for each appointment and contribute to treatment planning meetings
- Travel to homes including those with stairs or limited access and complete assigned tasks
- Assist with completing forms and supporting office tasks as needed
