VoccaNew York, NY
$300,000 - $400,000Onsite

About The Position

Vocca is seeking a Country Launcher to build, lead, and scale its US organization from the ground up. This is a unique 0→1 leadership role where the individual will initially be hands-on, closing deals alongside founding Account Executives to establish market standards and gain insights. The role will evolve into a leadership position responsible for hiring, coaching, and managing a world-class US sales organization. The ambition is to build a sales organization capable of generating tens to hundreds of millions in revenue. The product is an AI voice agent designed to improve patient-provider connections by instantly answering calls, scheduling appointments, triaging urgency, and reducing missed calls. It is already used by over 3500 providers and delivers tangible benefits such as higher appointment capture, lower call abandonment, reduced front-desk overload, and an improved patient experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience with strong full-cycle closing.
  • Some experience leading, mentoring, or building a team (leadership experience is a strong plus if ambition and track record are present).
  • Ability to build 0→1: process, playbook, hiring, forecasting, and culture with high autonomy and comfort in ambiguity.
  • Extreme ambition to build a sales organization selling tens to hundreds of millions.
  • Extreme ownership, humility, and drive to build something meaningful.
  • Love being close to customers and turning feedback into execution.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling into and building teams selling to healthcare provider organizations (multi-site groups, MSOs, DSOs, health systems) or adjacent health tech.
  • Experience hiring, scaling, or leading a US sales team.
  • Experience navigating security/compliance and integration stakeholders in complex deals.
  • Experience using tools like Attio, Notion, Slack, Apollo (or equivalent).
  • Existing network in US healthcare operations.

Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, and scale the US organization from the ground up.
  • Close early deals hands-on alongside founding AEs to set the standard and learn the market.
  • Diagnose current sales motion and begin shaping the US sales playbook.
  • Coordinate with Ops and Deployment Strategists for clean onboarding of early US customers.
  • Drive pipeline and close deals, turning wins into a repeatable, documented process.
  • Establish sales organization fundamentals: metrics, forecasting, pipeline reviews, CRM hygiene, and opportunity qualification.
  • Define the hiring plan and begin building the team (sourcing, interviewing, hiring).
  • Feed field insights (objections, workflows, integration needs) back to Product and leadership.
  • Transition from player-coach to leader, hiring, ramping, and coaching AEs and SDRs.
  • Own the US sales number end-to-end: pipeline generation, conversion, forecasting, and quota attainment.
  • Codify the US sales playbook: ICP, MEDDICC-style process, pricing/packaging, ROI story, procurement and security navigation.
  • Build systems for a scaling organization: comp plans, territory design, enablement, and a repeatable hiring/onboarding engine.
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder deals for healthcare groups.
  • Set the team up to run complex deals independently.

Benefits

  • Founding-team equity
  • Comprehensive health coverage: medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Employer-sponsored plans with partial support for dependents.
  • Access to a 401(k) plan.
  • Unlimited PTO, including vacation, holidays, and sick days.
  • Reimbursement for work-related expenses.
