About The Position

Everforth ECS Federal is seeking a C-sUAS Network Security Analyst to support a Department of War customer in the National Capital Region. The analyst assesses counter-unmanned aircraft systems equipment and networks for net worthiness and identifies cybersecurity conditions that could affect connection and operation. The role translates technical documentation, security findings, and authorization requirements into organized actions that support government review and fielding decisions. The position oversees compilation of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and authorization artifacts and maintains supporting records in the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS). The analyst works with vendors, supported units, and government security stakeholders to resolve documentation gaps and coordinate authorization and connection-approval activities. In a fast-moving technical environment with evolving equipment and network configurations, the analyst maintains traceable documentation, follows deficiencies through resolution, and explains authorization risks in terms of operational impact. Authorization decisions remain with the appropriate government authorities.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree; relevant experience and certifications may be considered in lieu of degree requirements.
  • Experience supporting the Risk Management Framework process.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CompTIA SecurityX certification.
  • Experience using eMASS to manage system records, security artifacts, and authorization-package information.
  • Ability to assess equipment and network documentation, identify security or authorization gaps, and organize actions needed to resolve them.
  • Ability to compile and maintain complete, internally consistent authorization artifacts as system configurations and supporting information change.
  • Ability to coordinate technical and documentation requirements with vendors, supported units, assessors, and government security stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate authorization status, unresolved findings, and connection constraints to technical teams and military and civilian leadership.
  • Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, and initiative to manage multiple open actions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Assess C-UAS equipment and network designs for net worthiness and identify security and documentation gaps that could prevent authorization or connection.
  • Coordinate preparation of RMF artifacts, aligning system descriptions, boundaries, data flows, and supporting evidence with proposed system configurations.
  • Collect, review, and organize vendor- and unit-provided cybersecurity documentation for completeness and consistency before government review.
  • Enter, maintain, and update system records and authorization-package artifacts in eMASS, keeping documentation aligned with current equipment and network configurations.
  • Coordinate ATO, ATOc, and ATC activities with vendors, supported units, and government security stakeholders.
  • Track security findings, corrective actions, responsible parties, and outstanding evidence, and follow up with technical teams to resolve deficiencies.
  • Review equipment and network changes for impacts to existing authorization documentation and coordinate updates needed for government assessment.
  • Identify authorization dependencies that could affect integration or fielding schedules and brief government leads on operational implications and recommended actions.
  • Maintain clear records of package status, reviewer comments, and open conditions so supported units and vendors understand actions required before connection or operation.
  • Support responses to assessors and authorizing officials with traceable evidence and technical recommendations, and document the disposition of review comments.
