About The Position

Ian's Pizza is seeking a part-time Counter Server to work at their Story Hill restaurant and at Off-site Events. This role involves being the friendly face of the company, greeting customers, managing slices from ovens, preparing salads, taking phone and counter orders, and operating the register. The position also includes maintaining cleanliness, stocking, completing shift checklists, and assisting with restaurant or event operations. The company offers opportunities for growth, training, and promotion in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Requirements

Able to stand/walk for long periods of time
Able to lift up to 30lbs regularly
Able to tolerate touching and being around allergens such as gluten, dairy, eggs, etc.
Comfortable using ovens, knives, kitchen tools, and other equipment of the restaurant biz
Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures
Comfortable working and communicating in loud, fast-paced working environments
Must be 18+ years old to apply
Authorized to work in the U.S. (IDs required at Orientation)
Able to read, write, and speak English comfortably with team and customers

Nice To Haves

Previous server or customer service experience is a huge plus

Responsibilities

Greet customers
Get slices in and out of finishing ovens
Mix salads
Take pick-up orders by phone and at the counter
Ring customers up at the register
Keep work area clean and well-stocked
Work with the team to complete shift checklists
Pitch in where needed to keep the restaurant or event/catering stand running smoothly
