About The Position
Alro Steel is seeking a 1st Shift Counter Salesperson/Material Handler for its Metals Outlet team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role combines customer service and material handling in a team-oriented environment focused on providing excellent service. The position welcomes applicants with no prior experience and provides extensive upfront training and ongoing mentoring. The employee answers and makes phone calls, assists walk-in customers, and provides quotes in response to email and phone inquiries. Material handlers work together to fill and prepare customer orders for shipment, including operating forklifts and metal saws. Safety, dependability, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and teamwork are important to success in the role.

Responsibilities
