About The Position

Alro Steel is hiring a 1st Shift Counter Salesperson/Material Handler for its Metals Outlet team in Rochester, New York. The role combines customer service and material handling in a team-oriented environment focused on providing excellent service. The position involves answering and making phone calls, helping walk-in customers, and preparing quotes in response to email and phone inquiries. Material handlers work together to fill and prepare customer orders for shipment, using forklifts and metal saws while working safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Answer and make customer phone calls.
